Part of his success, besides taking a pragmatic approach to losing weight, was recording his experiences on his blog. It helps to keep yourself accountable to other people other than yourself, cause you can always fool yourself.
I tried to keep a photo diary of what I was eating but invariably I'd forget, and once I've eaten it was gone. Writing about it however would work for as long as I remember to actually blog about it! So Tyler (the guy who wrote that blog) has some really really simple steps.
- Calculate your daily calorie intake
- Substract calories
- Burn calories
My daily calorie intake should be 3,620, based on the tool he blogged about. So I'm gonna try and aim for 2500. So let's see how I go, starting with breakfast tomorrow *looks at the time* or should I say later?
